Fue autora de cerca de medio centenar de obras, principalmente teatro, adem\u00e1s de novelas y cuentos. Su obra m\u00e1s famosa es <em>La tonta del bote<\/em>, pero tambi\u00e9n sobresali\u00f3 como empresaria y directora teatral, llegando a dirigir el Teatro Mu\u00f1oz Seca en Madrid durante la II Rep\u00fablica.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Relaci\u00f3n con su \u00c9poca<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pilar Mill\u00e1n Astray desarroll\u00f3 su carrera en las primeras d\u00e9cadas del siglo XX, coincidiendo plenamente con grandes figuras como <strong>Antonio Machado<\/strong>, formando parte de una generaci\u00f3n marcada por la transici\u00f3n entre lo tradicional y lo moderno, tanto en la literatura como en el papel de la mujer en la sociedad.
